The night before the burial of her husband 2nd Lt. The Marines made a bed for her, tucking in the sheets below the flag. Before she fell asleep, she opened her laptop computer and played songs that reminded her of him, and one of the Marines asked if she wanted them to continue standing watch as she slept. “I think it would be kind of nice if you kept doing it” she said. “I think that’s what he would have wanted”.
-Not sure what is more honorable: Being married to this faithful wife to the end or the Marine standing next to the casket watching over them both.

I saw this in the Pulitizer Prizer Winner collection at the Newseum. Another photo from this series won the actual prize but I just sat and stared at this one and cried and cried.
you do not need to constantly justify yourself. go ahead. eat pancakes. eat a ton at dinner. eat ice cream sundaes at 1am. take a rest day. take six rest days. sleep in. watch a movie. watch ten movies. no explanations needed. you’re allowed to be kind to yourself.

Finals. Job. Boyfriend. I got down to 169 and now I have no idea where I am. I’m on my period too. :( I don’t have time to work out right now. My boyfriend gota gym membership. He said I motivated him. That’s fantastic. Why can all I do is hate how I’m treating my body yet doing nothing to fix it. :(
Hello this is my 4 weeks progress from the start of October 2013 (123 lbs - ish) to now (December 2013) (117 lbs - ish) - I lost around 6.6lbs in 4 weeks helped by clean eating and moderate exercise :)
